We’re excited to offer new Continuing Education courses for adults this fall, including three new Cornell Cooperative Extension gardening workshops: “Planting Flowering Bulbs that Flower from Spring through Fall,” “Putting the Garden to Bed,” and “Winter Container Gardens.” Interested in photography? A field trip to Kingsland Point Park in Tarrytown will teach you how to take beautiful photos of the landscapes and lighthouses at the park. The “Navigating Medicare” workshop will cover changes in Medicare in 2018, Medigap, Medicare Advantage, and prescription drug coverage–perfect timing for Medicare Open Enrollment. Regret never learning to play the piano? “Introduction to Piano,” a 10-week course, will provide you with keyboard reading and beginning piano skills.

Courses for students include Red Cross Babysitting Certification (ages 11-15), Driverʼs Education, ACT, and SAT review programs.

Continuing Education catalogs are headed to South Orangetown mailboxes later this month, but you can click here to view the Fall 2017 Continuing Education catalog today.
