Thanks to strong community support, the South Orangetown Central School District 2021-2022 school budget passed with more than 76% of the vote on May 18. The approved budget totals $98,208,170 and reflects a 1.41% budget-to-budget increase and a 0.10% tax levy increase.
“I am grateful to our community for their continued support of our children,” said Superintendent of Schools Robert Pritchard, Ed.D. “The fiscal stability of our school district remains strong and we are in an excellent position to move beyond the COVID-19 pandemic.”
Dana Stilley was elected to the Board of Education. Her three-year term begins July 1, 2021 and concludes June 30, 2024.
