More than 100 honors and scholarships recognizing academic, artistic and athletic achievement, leadership and character were awarded to soon-to-be graduates during Tappan Zee High School’s Senior Awards Ceremony yesterday.
Principal Rudy Arietta kicked off the awards ceremony acknowledging the many successes the graduating seniors have achieved in the face of unprecedented challenges. “You’ve each succeeded in a variety of different areas,” Arietta began. “You all have done this while facing challenging times — I hope you each look back on all you have accomplished and all you have overcome with great pride.”
