This morning, over 30 seniors participated in Tappan Zee High School’s first-ever Instant Decision Day hosted by the Tappan Zee High School Counseling Department!
Admissions representatives from Mercy College, Rockland Community College and Dominican College met with a number of students to discuss the programs they offer, assist them in their application process and answer questions. Following their meeting with these representatives, students submit their applications and receive instant notification.
“This Instant Decision Day serves as a partnership between TZHS and local colleges to provide a supported and accessible opportunity for students to not only submit their applications, but also receive immediate feedback as they take the next step to further their education,” said TZHS Counseling Department Team Leader Kelly Keane.
“Our TZHS school counselors feel fortunate to have built strong professional relationships with our colleagues at these schools, as a significant number of our graduates choose to pursue their education locally after graduating.”
