In keeping with our security procedures we want to remind anyone who wishes to enter any SOCSD building that you will be required to present a photo ID to the security guard prior to entering.  Your cooperation and understanding is appreciated as the safety of our children is our number one priority.

SOCSD is pleased to announce that effective September 2013 breakfast will now be available to students in all schools. Sample menus, payment plans, and nutritional information and updates will be available on the website later in the summer.




The SOCSD Libraries provide fiction and nonfiction books to support student learning during the school year. It is time to return all borrowed library books before the school year ends. Please return all library books to the appropriate building as soon as possible!

Summertime is fun time for readers of all ages! Browse through the collections at your public libraries and “Dig into Reading” this summer! Research clearly correlates the amount of reading a student does over the summer to his or her academic growth over the school year. We encourage all students to read widely by reading non-fiction and/or fiction books this summer.

Please refer to the summer reading requirements posted by the district librarians.
