Tappan Zee High School PTSA 2009- 2010
 

Dear Parents and Guardians: 

The TZHS PTSA welcomes you to the ‘09-‘010 school year.  The PTSA is a vital part of the Tappan Zee High School and is involved in many aspects of the student’s educational experience.    We provide scholarships, organize Project Graduation, participate on staff interview committees and provide assistance wherever we can.  Parents and students are encouraged to join and participate.

Why Should You Join the TZHS PTSA?

• Your TZHS PTSA membership dues are used to fund student & parent enrichment and activities for TZHS students, teachers and parents.
• Be a part of the largest child advocacy volunteer association in America
• Learn about important issues affecting students in your school and community
• Have access to PTA resources and materials (www.pta.org)

We meet monthly at 7:30 p.m. in the TZHS Library (dates listed below and on the school calendar).   Each meeting begins with the Principal’s report, review of upcoming events and a monthly agenda. Suggestions for agenda items are always welcome.

To become a member, just complete the 2009-2010 Membership Form (pdf) with a check made payable to TZHS PTSA for $15.00 per member.  It can be submitted to our mailbox located in the main office or mailed to the address below.  In addition, feel free to check off your specific interests on the membership form.
