THEME:  "Beauty Is..."
All SOCSD students are invited to participate in  the Reflections in Art program. This year's theme is Beauty Is...
The deadline for registration is September 29, 2009 - Entries to be submitted by November 2, 2009.
National level winners receive a $500 scholarship.

The National PTA and SOCSD PTA/PTSA invites all students to participate in this exciting program to highlight your talents in Music, Film, Dance, Photography, Visual Arts, and Literature. Use your imagination, talents and know how to showcase your interpretation of the theme "Beauty Is...".

A blind judging will be held in November to determine first, second and third place winners in each school for each category. A secondary judging will take place amongst the winners to determine which pieces will represent SOCSD at the Regional Level in each category for each age group. From there, your work can go to State and National PTA competition. National winners receive a scholarship and a trip to the National PTA convention to showcase their work. Past winners can be seen on the National PTA website at: www.pta.org
