Dear
Families,
The year is moving quickly. Progress Reports were mailed
prior to break. I encourage you to discuss the comments
with your child and celebrate their success. If you have
any questions regarding your child’s progress, I ask you
to contact the classroom teacher. The classroom teacher
knows your child best and can provide you specific
information and strategies for improvement.
During adolescents, children will often opt out of
family activities. Don’t make it optional. Keep them
home and listen to what they have to say. Play games,
watch a movie and just allow laughter between you. These
interactions will often help reduce stress as well as
assure your child that they still need to be part of
their family while building friendships with their
peers. Our students are fortunate to have such wonderful
families.
Please
help your child participate in the "Project Get
Involved" activity. As a student body, they are
attempting to exceed 2000 hours of community service to
show the powerful positive impact they can have in this
community. Community Service can be performed anywhere
and an adult must sign off to acknowledge the work
performed by the student.
