The National Educational Technology Standards (NETS) Project
The International Society for Technology and Education (ISTE) is the leading professional organization for educators working in the field of educational technology. ISTE has released technology standards for students, teachers and administrators that address a range of technology-based competencies for those groups.

The National Education Technology Plan
The National Education Technology Plan, Toward a Golden Age in American Education, was released in 2004. The plan contains recommendations that deal with issues such as improving teacher education, moving toward digital content, and integrating data systems.

Partnership for 21st Century Learning
The Partnership for 21st Century LearningĀ has emerged as the leading advocacy organization focused on infusing 21st century skills into education. The organization brings together the business community, education leaders and policymakers to define a powerful vision for 21st century education and to ensure that students emerge from our schools with the skills needed to be effective citizens, workers and leaders.
