Mr. Randy Altman

Randy Altman has earned a Masters degree in Social Work from NYU and Masters in Guidance and Counseling from The College of New Rochelle. He worked as a Psychiatric Social Worker and Psychotherapist for 15 years prior to beginning his career as a Guidance Counselor at Tappan Zee High School in 2002. He is an avid runner and proud husband and father of two children.

Laura Ferrante holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Fordham University and a Masters degree from Long Island University in Education-School Counseling. She has been employed as a school counselor for the past 19 years and loves working at her alma mater Tappan Zee High School.

Betsy Sherwood holds an undergraduate degree from Temple University and a Masters degrees from Temple and Fordham Universities. She has been a teacher and a guidance counselor for 35 years, the last 20 of them at Tappan Zee High School.

Ms. Celia Walker

Celia Walker has been an educator for 30 years including, most recently, 17 years as a guidance counselor. She holds an MA from the University of Edinburgh, a Certificate in Education from Homerton College, Cambridge, and a Masters degree in Education / School Counseling from Long Island University. She has been at Tappan Zee High School since 2001.

Rich Weissberg has been an educator for 26 years. This is his 20th year as a guidance counselor at Tappan Zee High School. He earned both his Bachelors and Masters degrees from the State University at Oneonta.
