Financial Aid Information

Attention: Seniors and Senior Parents:

Now is the time to pay attention to applying for financial aid. The information provided here can be helpful to you when you begin this process. In addition to filing the FAFSA, private colleges require the CSS/Financial Aid Profile which is available at www.collegeboard.com.

We recently ordered and received a very good resource called Funding Education Beyond High School -The Guide to Federal Student Aid.

Please ask your child to pick one up in the guidance office if you think it might be helpful.

Although we do not specialize in the financial aid process, if you need help, please call us and we will be able to direct you to an expert source. Please remember that you are at a great disadvantage if you wait to the last minute to file any of these applications. Both the FAFSA and the CSS Profile can be done now using last year’s tax forms. They can be updated and changed when you get the forms for this year. Please call your counselor if you have any questions.
