VESID

VESID is the office of Vocational and Educational Services for Individuals with Disabilities. To be eligible for vocational rehabilitation services, a person must have a physical, mental, emotional, or learning disability that interferes with their ability to work. The person must also need and be able to benefit from the services in order to get and keep a job. If a student is found eligible for services, a VESID vocational rehabilitation counselor will work with the student to plan a program. For more information visit their website at http://web.nysed.gov/vesid or by email at vesidadm@mail.nysed.gov.
