Voting Information
To be eligible to vote, you must be:
Voter registration is
from 8 AM to 4 PM on school days (September - June) and from 9
AM to 3 PM, Monday -Thursday on business days (July – August) at
the District Clerk’s Office, Administration Building, Blauvelt,
NY, or obtain a voter registration form from the US Post Office
and mail directly to Rockland County Board of Elections.
To vote by absentee ballot, the resident must first request an
application form for an absentee ballot. Once the application
form is filed with the District Clerk, the resident will receive
the absentee ballot.
To file for an application: Contact Terry Campanella,
District Clerk at 680-1012. A resident may apply in person or
receive the application by mail.
Submit application form: The District Clerk must receive
the application form at least 7 days before the election (May
8, 2012)
if the absentee ballot is to be mailed to the resident, or the
day before the election (May 14, 2012) if the absentee ballot is to
be picked up by the resident. Submit absentee ballot: Absentee ballots must be received by the District Clerk no later than 5:00 p.m. on election day, May 15, 2012.
