WOS Halloween Celebration
Friday, October 31, 2014

Kindergarten classes will have classroom celebrations for Halloween. All parents will be invited to the celebration. Please check with your classroom teacher for celebration times in your classroom. Kindergarten students will NOT participate in the parade.

First & Second Grade classes will parade at 10:30 am in the back field. Parents are encouraged to come and enjoy the parade. However in order to ensure the safety of all students, parents will not be invited back into the building.

In the event of rain, there will be no parade.

We are attaching the revised PICK UP Form for the times you need to pick up your student at the end of the day. It is convenient and helpful when we receive the PICK UP form on the morning of the day you are picking up to avoid any confusion for the teacher and especially for your child.

Please remember:
Early pick up is up to 2:15 p.m.

Regular dismissal is at 2:40 p.m.

Students will not be released between the 2:15 and 2:40 time frame. We thank you for your cooperation for this important safety rule.

Reminders from Nurse Shalvey:

  • Please be sure to call the nurse’s office at 680-1310 when your child will be absent.
  • If you have a Kindergartner or Second Grader student and have not sent in an updated physical, please do so as soon as possible.
  • Look out for the GERM SMART Program through the PTA reminding students to wash their hands and other germ smart precautions.
  • If you have not completed an updated Emergency Card for your child, please do so and return to the nurse’s office as soon as possible.

The 2014-15 PTA Reflections Program is in effect. Students are asked to create an original art work on “The World Would Be a Better Place If…” Submission deadline is November 14, 2014.
