Last week, the South Orangetown Middle School Italian Club delivered some holiday cheer (as well as homemade cookies and brownies!) to the residents of the Thorpe Senior Activity Center in Sparkill. Club members performed the Tarantella, led a few competitive rounds of tombola (an Italian game similar to Bingo), and ended their visit with a holiday sing-a-long. “The residents and students had a wonderful time!” reports World Language teacher and Italian Club advisor Roberta Avantifiori.
