More than 34 countries were represented by South Orangetown Central School District families at “We the People,” the much-anticipated, community celebration hosted by SOCES PTA and the Family Engagement Center at South Orangetown Middle School. The annual event showcases the beauty and diversity of our school district through traditional food, live performances, games, craft stations and more. Children received passports and received a stamp from each country they visited!
The SOCES PTA We the People Coordinators Liz Dudley, Kelly Ruby and Rachel Gottlieb and FEC Coordinator AJ Walker would like to thank all the participating families, student volunteers, and PTA and community volunteers. More photos and acknowledgments in the SOCES PTA post.
