Congratulations to the Tappan Zee High School Academic League Team and Advisor Steve Sherman for placing third among eight schools at the Rockland County Invitational yesterday! The “college bowl”-style competition spans topics ranging from curriculum-based math, science, history, art and current events to general knowledge questions about sports, pop culture and other trivia. The club meets weekly throughout the school year; the competitive season runs from November to March, culminating in the County Invitational.
