Email sent via SchoolMessenger to SOCSD families on August 9, 2020
Thanks to all who have submitted questions to reopening@socsd.org for our upcoming parent information webinars regarding our 2020 Reopening Plan.
In order to cover the breadth of questions submitted, each webinar will cover different topics. After a brief overview of the plan, District administrators and I will share and respond to questions submitted by 9:00AM on Tuesday, August 11. There will be a few minutes at the end of each session to respond to a small number of questions submitted via the chat that have not already been answered. However, most of each session will be dedicated to answer pre-submitted questions.

In the meantime, I encourage you to visit our Reopening webpage at www.socsd.org/reopening. Several At-A-Glance and FAQ documents have already been posted and contain answers to some questions families have submitted.
In addition, the deadline to submit the Reopening Parent Survey has been extended to 9:00PM on Wednesday, August 12, to allow families to learn more from the webinars before responding.
I look forward to sharing more information with you. Once again, thanks for your partnership and support.
Sincerely,
Robert R. Pritchard, Ed.D.
