South Orangetown Central School District

Administration of the SAT Exam scheduled for this Saturday, September 26, at Tappan Zee High School will proceed as planned. The building will be cleaned and sanitized over a 48-hour period preceding and following the exam administration. Masks must be worn on-site at all times by proctors and students and social distancing will be enforced.

Tappan Zee High School students who have been notified by District administration or the Rockland County Department of Health that they are required to quarantine may not report to take the SAT and have been contacted directly.

The College Board is responsible for day-of-exam screening and safety procedures. Students or proctors who do not feel well should stay home. View information on the College Board website.

In addition to the College Board screening process, students and proctors will be required to submit to a temperature screening. Those identified with a temperature of 100.0 degrees Fahrenheit or greater will not be permitted to enter the site and must leave campus immediately.

Students should arrive at TZHS at 7:30AM and enter through the auditorium entrance.
