South Orangetown Central School District

Attention, job-seeking educators: South Orangetown Central School District is participating in the Lower Hudson Council of School Personnel Administrators’ Diversity Teacher Job Fair on February 12!

“Whether you are just out of college, a career changer or a veteran educator, we hope that you’ll consider South Orangetown Central School District if you are looking for an elevating, engaging and inspiring professional home,” noted Director of Staff Relations Joseph Lloyd, Ph.D.

SOCSD has participated in the annual LHCSPA fair for the past three years and will be represented alongside school districts from across Rockland, Dutchess, Orange, Putnam and Westchester counties. Candidates with diverse backgrounds in all certification areas are encouraged to register online at olasjobs.org/LHCSPADiversityJobFair. Detailed event information will be emailed to registrants.

Since joining the District in 2019, Lloyd has worked to develop its talent pipeline to be more diverse and inclusive by building new partnerships, expanding recruitment opportunities and remodeling the hiring process.

“Our district remains committed to recruiting and hiring diverse candidates who will support us in providing exceptional and personalized learning experiences for our students. The LHCSPA fair continues to serve as a significant event in our recruitment planning,” Lloyd said.
