- Open to current South Orangetown public school students (grades K-8)
- Programs are led by SOCSD teachers
- No cost for families to participate
About Summer STEAM Camp
At Summer STEAM Camp, students dive deeper into science, technology, engineering art and math topics that they would not typically cover during the school year through fun, high-interest, hands-on projects.
Students currently in grades K-8 will have three one-hour classes on three different topics each day. They will take the same topics for the four days. In Week Two, students will switch and study 3 new topics.
Camper Registration & Selection
Should there be more applicants than seats available, seats will be filled through a lottery system. Before applying, please ensure that your child(ren) can commit to all seven (7) days of camp.
How to Apply
The application will be posted in your Powerschool account under “Forms” for each eligible student on Friday, January 30. Applications close on Friday, February 13. You will be notified about application status by Friday, February 27.
