30 Students Perform in RCMEA Intermediate & Contemporary/Jazz Music Festival

This weekend, 30 SOCSD student-musicians will be performing in the Rockland County Music Educator Association Intermediate All-County and Contemporary/Jazz All-County Music Festivals at Pomona Middle School! Selections were based on the students’ outstanding solo audition scores from last spring’s New York State School Music Association solo evaluation festival.

The annual RCMEA festivals provide students with opportunities to perform with the best ensembles in the county with notable music professionals from across the United States. SOCSD students will also be performing in the RCMEA Intermediate All-County Music Festival next month.
