Annual Clap-Out Celebrates Seniors
Cheering students and staff lined the halls of South Orangetown Middle School, Cottage Lane Elementary School and William O. Schaefer Elementary School this morning to celebrate the Class of 2025!
Seniors outfitted in their graduation best made the rounds to all three schools, where they received hugs, high-fives and congratulations from their former teachers and current students.
The senior clap-out, a new South Orangetown tradition, got its start last year.
“It’s a truly memorable way for our seniors to reflect on their educational experiences and achievements and to inspire younger students across our District. Thank you to senior class advisors Jamie Celona and Tracy Ryan for organizing this special event in collaboration with the WOS, CLE and SOMS administrators,” said TZHS Principal Melissa Luciano.
