Here Are the Nominees...
The Tappan Zee Players' Spring 2026 musical, Grease, is now a TWO-TIME Metropolitan (Metros) High School Theatre Awards-nominated production! This year, 74 schools across Westchester, Putnam, Bergen and Rockland counties (the last of which Tappan Zee High School is one of only seven to be recognized) participated in the Metros — shining a spotlight on the show-stopping performances by:
• Anna H. (Marty, Outstanding Comedic Performance by a Female-Identifying Performer);
• Max B., Patrick B. and Ian K. (Outstanding Performance by a Student Orchestra).
All nominees will be celebrated and winners announced at the 2026 Metro Awards ceremony on Monday, June 15 at 7:30 p.m. at the Performing Arts Center at Purchase College. See some of our stars in action before then during TZHS' Spring Concert II this Thursday, May 28 at 7 p.m. Congratulations and good luck!
