Kwon Recognized by Commissioner of Jurors

Kwon Recognized by Commissioner of Jurors
Congratulations to Tappan Zee High School senior Elise Kwon, who was recently recognized by the Commissioner of Jurors from the Rockland County Courthouse!
Elise won first prize in the New York State Office for Justice Initiatives and Historical Society of the New York Courts’ 2025 Law Day Art Contest with her piece, “E Pluribus Unum – A Tapestry of Democracy,” and it is now displayed in the Rockland County Courthouse. The competition theme, “The Constitution’s Promise: Out of Many, One,” mirrors the American Bar Association’s 2025 Law Day theme. Her award-winning piece was featured in Albany for a year and now, it will be permanently displayed in the central Jury Room of the Rockland County Courthouse in New City.
