SOCSD Launches Summer STEAM Camp 2025
Full STEAM ahead! South Orangetown Middle School recently turned into the launchpad for SOCSD's annual Summer STEAM Camp. Open to students in grades K-8, campers – led by District teachers and Tappan Zee High School volunteers – further explore the science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics fields through a variety of high-interest, hands-on projects. From building dream houses in Minecraft to designing real-life slingshot rockets, solving complex puzzle blocks to practicing basic coding principles, the possibilities for learning are only limited by their imaginations – which know no bounds!
