SOMS Hosts CLE Fifth Graders for Annual Presentation

Fifth graders at Cottage Lane Elementary School recently visited South Orangetown Middle School, where they were warmly greeted by the World Languages Department and learned about the benefits of taking French, Italian and Spanish. Students were also treated to performances by some of the Music Department's ensembles — previewing the festive pieces that SOCSD community members can expect to hear during this week's winter concerts. Held annually, these presentations help prepare rising sixth graders for the transition to middle school and make them aware of the opportunities available.
