TZ Students Get To Know Their New School

Do you know how many Mathematics League Championship plaques are on the wall opposite the Nurse's Office? How about what is at the center of the mural next to the Testing Center? These are just some of the answers that ninth graders at Tappan Zee High School were determined to find out.

As a follow up to their recent peer leader-guided tour, Freshman Seminar classes went on a scavenger hunt to become more familiar with their new school. Students also used the activity as an opportunity to get acquainted with members of the administration, faculty and staff — found at every turn and always willing to help! Personnel took the care and time to make introductions before learners continued on their search, but not without giving them some clues first.
