TZHS DECA Club Members Attend Annual NYS Conference
Members of the Tappan Zee High School’s DECA (Distributive Education Clubs of America) Club joined more than 3,000 high school business, finance, hospitality and marketing students at the annual New York State DECA Competition, held March 4-6, in Rochester, New York.
Lukas W. and Jaywon C. placed 2nd overall for their role play in the Financial Services Team Decision Making category and have qualified to advance to the international level competition at the DECA International Career Development Conference that will be held April 25-28, 2026, in Atlanta, Georgia. Last year, Lukas and Jaywon placed in the top ten overall and sixth place for role play in the Financial Services Team Decision Making category during the annual NYS DECA Career Conference.
Additionally, Hailey K. placed in the top ten of her role play in the Food Marketing Series!
