TZHS French Honor Society Welcomes Seven New Inductees
Tappan Zee High School’s Société Honoraire de Français inducted seven juniors for outstanding achievement in their study of the French language at a November 20 ceremony. The inductees join 10 seniors who were inducted last year.
“I am extremely proud of these students, for their undeniably hard work, their passion for learning and their thirst for knowledge. In achieving this award, they have demonstrated academic excellence, personal growth and have made many contributions to our communities,” said French language teacher and honor society advisor Elaine Hayes. “Wherever they may find themselves in the world after high school, their new community will be fortunate to receive the gift of their many and varied talents.”
