"Be independent and curious, build relationships and take risks." These are just some of the tips that Tappan Zee High School Principal Melissa Luciano had for South Orangetown Middle School students during this week's Grade 8 Into 9 orientations. Principal Luciano — along with assistant principals Kevin Carbonetti and Alex Levine, Ed.D., as well as School Counselor Jaime Holzer — formally introduced themselves to the Class of 2030 before turning the visit over to the Music Department for a special performance. Eighth graders then broke off into groups led by current TZHS students and explored some of our Business, Art, Computer Science and Technology and Engineering offerings.
