WOS, CLE Host Annual K-5 Family Math Night
We've crunched the numbers and SOCSD's annual K-5 Family Math Night was a success! The event, hosted by the Office of Curriculum & Instruction, challenged students from William O. Schaefer and Cottage Lane elementary schools to complete games and activities focused on geometry, fractions and other topics. This year also marked the 10th anniversary and, to celebrate, featured a "Math Through the Decades" station — from calculating the cost of an order at Katie's Diner in the 1950s to how many outfit combinations Tiffany can make for her workout class in the 1980s. And, yes, children behaved!
