Transporting students to and from school safely every day is our top priority. South Orangetown’s Transportation Office ensures that buses meet all safety standards and that all drivers meet state and federal licensing and training requirements.
**Transportation procedures and building schedules are being adjusted for September 2020 reopening. View the Transportation At-A-Glance overview here. Please contact Transportation or your child’s school building with questions.**
Calls to the Transportation Office should be returned and emails should be acknowledged within one business day. However, please keep in mind that the two weeks before and the two weeks after the start of school are our busiest time. Additional staff will be added to help address immediate concerns during this period. However, for non-emergencies, please use email. For student-to-student or student discipline issues, please contact your child’s school directly.
