Although access to our buildings and grounds have been limited due to the pandemic, several substantial capital projects were completed last summer in the midst of reopening preparations. View our Summer 2020 Capital Projects video on the SOCSD Communications YouTube Channel (English | Spanish).
Voter-approved use of our capital reserve funds, supplemented with annual budget allocations, have enabled us to make significant upgrades to our buildings and grounds over the past three years. And there is more work to do.
Our Board of Education and Administrative Team are finalizing the District’s master capital plan to ensure that our facilities support current and anticipated needs of our students, staff and K-12 academic program. Look for more information in the coming months.
