During its annual reorganization meeting on July 1, the South Orangetown Central School District Board of Education swore in new members Steven Finn and David Sansone, who were elected in May to three-year terms which began July 1, 2022 and expire June 30, 2025.
The Board also recently welcomed new member Steven Peña, who was sworn in this spring following a special election in March. Peña was elected to serve the remainder of the term vacated by a Board member who relocated. His term ends June 30, 2023.
In addition to the swearing in of new members, Board members elected their leadership for the 2022-23 school year: Dana Stilley, Ph.D. is President and Leon Jacobs is Vice President.
