We are excited for the upcoming curriculum presentation and overview on Wednesday October 12, from 7:00-8:30 PM in the Tappan Zee High School cafeteria. The Office of Curriculum and Instruction, in partnership with the South Orangetown PTAs, will host the Second Annual K-12 Curriculum Night to highlight the District’s curriculum and to kick off a series of related events that will take place in our schools throughout the 2022-2023 school year. School leaders will also be there to answer school specific questions.
The October 12 curriculum presentation will focus on:
- A broad overview of our K-12 curriculum
- Specific curriculum, programs, and extracurricular opportunities
- Curriculum-related resources for parents
- How parents can support their children at home
- TZHS Pathways app
To assist our district and school teams in planning this event, we’re asking parents and community members who intend to attend this event to complete this Google Form English|Spanish) by Friday, October 7, 2022.
We are asking that parents and guardians who plan to attend submit questions–which may be school-, grade-, or subject-specific in nature–in advance so that we can best answer their questions at the event. Please enter your questions when completing the Google Form. There will also be a brief open Q&A session at the end of the presentation.
We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday, October 12!
