The Tappan Zee High School Counseling Department hosted their second Annual Instant Decision Day yesterday!

Representatives from Dominican University and Rockland Community College met with 20 students to discuss the programs they offer, assist them in the application process and answer any questions they had. After meeting with these representatives, students will submit their application and receive instant notification.

“Instant Decision Day is an exciting opportunity for many of our seniors to complete the application process in a short period of time right in the high school with no application fees. Students were able to meet with admissions representatives from both Dominican University and Rockland Community College to ask questions about the financial aid and admissions processes,” TZHS School Counseling Team Leader Kelly Keane said. “Students often express relief when they leave that they were able to successfully apply to college quickly and easily.”

Instant Decision Day is one of the many opportunities that the TZHS Counseling Department has offered this fall to help students as they are navigating the college application process.
