The Two Counties, One Cause High School Basketball Tournament returns to Dutchmen Arena this Saturday! Spearheaded by TZHS Boys Varsity Basketball Coach George Gaine, this year’s event spans four basketball games kicking off with Nyack vs. Ossining and closing with TZHS vs. Henry Hudson Regional School at 6PM.
Participating teams, coaches and players are raising funds and awareness for the Children’s Tumor Foundation (CTF) to fund research for a cure for Neurofibromatosis, a genetic disorder. Throughout the week, TZHS teacher Andy DiDomenico’s Citizen Leadership classes have been working to promote the event districtwide, through in-school marketing efforts, designing t-shirts to raise donations and by assembling “thank you” snack bags for participating teams.
