Tappan Zee High School hosted the Annual COVE Fitness Challenge on May 12!

South Orangetown Middle School and TZHS COVE students, staff, building administrators, families, alumni and students from other district-based programs throughout Rockland County were challenged to walk the track at TZHS for at least 30 minutes. “The goal is to inspire students to live healthy, long lives and to build endurance and strength for a better quality of life,” said Rockland BOCES and TZHS COVE teacher Bonnie McCourt. “We have hosted this event for over 14 years and each year, there are more and more kids that participate.”

Members of TZ United helped McCourt hand out trophies and certificates to recognize all students for participating in the event.
