On Tuesday morning, Studio Art students exhibited their work for families and faculty at South Orangetown Middle School.
The event is an annual tradition to highlight the work of artists who take Studio Art, an accelerated course taught by Tatiana DiPierno and Allison Meyers. Seventh grade students who demonstrate strong performance in sixth and seventh grade art courses are eligible to apply for Studio in Art enrollment in Grade 8. Students who successfully complete this high school level foundation course earn one full credit toward their New York State graduation requirements and are eligible to register for advanced art electives at Tappan Zee High School.
