During its annual reorganization meeting this morning, the South Orangetown Central School District Board of Education swore in new members Katie Gravino and Diana Korabel, who were elected in May to three-year terms which began July 1, 2023 and expire June 30, 2026. Superintendent of Schools Brian Culot, Ed.D. and District Clerk Kathy Muscari also took their respective oaths of office.
Board members elected Steven Finn as President and David Sansone as Vice President for the 2023-24 school year. Finn will also serve as the Board’s representative to the Rockland County School Boards Association, with Gravino as alternate.
