In the recently released 2024 Niche Best Schools rankings, Tappan Zee High School ranked second in Rockland County and among the top five percent of public high schools statewide (#65 of 1,272). TZHS also ranked 51st for Best Public High School Teachers in New York State.
The South Orangetown Central School District also ranked in the top 10 percent of all public school districts statewide (65th out of 672) and 43rd among the Best School Districts to Teach in the state.
