This weekend, the Tappan Zee Players proudly present “That’ll Learn Ya!”
Written by Eddie McPherson, “That’ll Learn Ya” tells the story of the residents of Possum Trot, a quiet western town that has been under a gypsy spell for two hundred years. Best friends Seymour and Edmund work alongside the people in the western town to break the spell once and for all.
Under the direction of Doug Gipple, the fall play features the work of 30 cast and crew members. “Everyone has worked really hard to put this show together. It would mean so much to us if people came to see it and it would help support the TZ Players in future productions like our spring musical! This show is a lot of fun and I think people will really enjoy it,” said Art and Set Director and Prop Master Clare M. Stage manager Ella S. added, “It was such a new experience for me to act as the stage manager and I’m excited to see all of our hard work come together this weekend. I really enjoy being a part of this and my fellow crew members are basically my family.”
Showtimes are 8:00PM this Friday, December 1, and Saturday, December 2, in the Tappan Zee High School auditorium. Tickets will be sold at the door prior to the start of the show and are $12 for general admission and $10 for students and senior citizens.
