Thirty-six SOCSD student-musicians will be performing in the Rockland County Music Education Association Intermediate All-County Music Festival at Clarkstown South High School this weekend! Selections were based on the students’ outstanding solo audition scores from last spring’s New York State School Music Association solo evaluation festival.
The annual RCMEA festivals provide students with opportunities to perform with the best ensembles in the county with notable music professionals from across the United States. Earlier this year, SOCSD student-musicians also participated in the NYSSMA All-States and the Area All-States along with the RCMEA Senior, Junior and Jazz All-County Music Festivals.
