Twenty-seven Tappan Zee High School students were inducted and re-inducted into The Société Honoraire de Français on November 17. Eleven students were inducted and were joined by sixteen seniors who were re-inducted this year.

The honor society recognizes high achievement of junior and senior French language students. The honor society’s goal is to stimulate interest in the study of French, promote and reward high standards of scholarship and create an enthusiasm for and an understanding of Francophone culture and civilization.

“I am so incredibly proud of these hard working and dedicated young individuals. They have demonstrated an impressive work ethic and a commitment to the study of French language and culture, as well as outstanding overall academic achievement. I would like to congratulate each one of them on their induction into the French Honor Society,” said honor society advisor and World Language teacher Elaine Hayes.

 Congratulations, 2022 inductees!
