South Orangetown Central School District students are invited to showcase the awesome science, technology, engineering, art and math projects they’ve been working on this year at the 8th Annual School Maker Faire on June 8, 6-8PM, at Tappan Zee High School.

More than 100 makers presented at last year’s event–and we’re hoping to make our 2023 Maker Faire even BIGGER!

  • Beginner and experienced makers in grades K-12 are welcome
  • Students can register high-tech, low-tech or no tech experiments, research projects, inventions and art projects they’ve worked on in school or own their own
  • There is no cost to participate or attend and the event is open to the public

For more information or to register, visit the SOCSD School Maker Faire website at blogs.socsd.org/makerfaire. Don’t delay–the deadline to register is Friday, June 2.

This outdoor event will be held outside the Dutchmen Arena entrance in the TZHS rear parking lot. (Parking will be in the Dutch Hill Road lot.) Food trucks will be on-site for families to purchase a bite to eat!

The SOCSD School Maker Faire is hosted annually by the Office of Curriculum & Instruction. Thanks to the SOCSD Family Engagement Center for coordinating food trucks for this year’s event!
