School Community Survey
Take the SOCSD School Community Survey!
The South Orangetown Central School District is seeking input from parents, staff, students (grades 6-12 only) and community members to inform its long-range strategic planning and goal setting.
We want to hear from you! The School Community Survey takes just 10 minutes to complete and is strictly confidential. Data collected will be used to guide the District on its path to continuous improvement. Participation is optional, but strongly encouraged.
- Parents and staff will receive an invitation and survey link directly from K12 Insight, our independent research partner, at approximately 9AM on January 24. Parents who did not receive the invitation can email email@example.com to request one. Staff members who did not receive the invitation should contact the Technology Department.
- Students will complete the survey at school during the week of February 5.
- Community members may take the survey here.
K12 Insight ensures the confidentiality of all responses and will provide the District with objective data. No one in the District will know who participates in the survey or be able to connect a participant to their responses unless a participant self-identifies in the open-ended comment section.
The survey deadline has been extended to Wednesday, February 28.
