Superintendent Search: The District’s search firm is advertising and recruiting candidates for the Superintendent of Schools position. The application deadline is February 5. Links to the application and the anticipated search timeline, is posted on the Superintendent Search webpage.
Budget Development: District administrators presented strategic planning guidance for the development of the 2023-24 school budget on December 15. View the presentation on BoardDocs

January 26, 2023: Budget development and process overview
February 16, 2023: Estimated revenue and tax levy limit calculation
March 2, 2023: Strategic plan/guiding principles, revenue and appropriations overview
March 28, 2023: Draft budget review, budget originator summaries
April TBD: Revised budget review (if needed)
April 18, 2023: Budget adoption
May 9, 2023: Public budget hearing
May 16, 2023: Budget vote
Security Recommendations: As follow-up to its October 20 presentation, the District-Wide Safety Committee will present its recommendations for enhancing school security to the Board of Education at the January 12 Board of Education meeting. Recommendations are being proposed for 2023-24 budget consideration.
Committee Membership: In addition to serving on the Board of Education, Board members sit on the following committees: Audit Committee/Finance Advisory Council, District-Wide Safety Committee, Facilities Committee, Policy Committee and Wellness Committee.
