Pupil Personnel Services
The Department of Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) responds to the changing needs of South Orangetown students and their families through an array of innovative and collaborative programs and services, which encompass the Family Engagement Center, registration, school counseling, school nursing, special education and food pantry. PPS team members are at the forefront of supporting the District’s “whole child” approach to education as the challenges our students face on a daily basis have become increasingly complex.
If your child or family is struggling, please don’t hesitate to reach out for help. The first step is to contact your child’s teacher or school counselor.
